UPLAND, Ind. --- The Bethel Pilots Men's Track and Field team saw a solid meet at the George Glass Invitational hosted by Taylor University, with Shane Glasco hitting the NAIA 'B' mark and other solid finishes on Saturday.
Brennen Bargesser finished fifth in the 400 meters at 50.96, just shy of Taylor's Bradley Braxton, who was fourth at 50.72. He won the 200 meters with a time of 22.24, which qualified him for the NCCAA National Championship in both events.
Joey Rutten took sixth in the Pole Vault with a 4.20 mark, landing him in the NCCAA Championship.
Jacob Kavicky threw a 46.19-meter mark for third place, and Anthony Maxwell took fifth with a 48.01-meter mark.
Shane Glasco broke 2.00 meters for the first time in the outdoor season and won the High Jump with a 2.02 meter mark for the NAIA 'B' mark.
Michael Fleming took third in a close triple jump matchup with IU-Kokomo's Julian Wallace only .15 away from each other; he scored a 12.48-meter jump.
Jason Grashorn took fifth with a 14.01-meter mark in the shot put to round off the Pilots meet.

The Pilots head to Muncie, Ind., for the BSU We Fly Challenge on April 12-13 for their second to last meet before the Crossroads League Outdoor Championship.
