INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- The Bethel Pilots Track and Field team competed in the Knight Open, hosted by Marian University, on Thursday; Shane Glasco led the Pilots by tying for first in the High Jump.
Shane Glasco qualified for the NCCAA National Championship and tied for first in the High Jump at 1.97 meters with the University of Indianapolis' Alex Meyer.
The 4x800 relay team of Aaron Douglass, Elijah Poorman, Josiah Railton, and Avery Richardson won the event with a time of 8:34.38, beating Saint Mary of the Woods, who ran 9:26.66.
Joey Rutten, who jumped 4.25 meters, placed fourth in the Pole Vault and will compete in the NCCAA National Championship.
The 4x100 relay team of Marcus Smith, Brennen Bargesser, Caleb McNeal, and Landon Herbert took third with a time of 43.98.
NEXT TIME OUT
The Pilots head to Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich., for the GVSU Early Meet at 11 a.m. at the Outdoor Track and Field Stadium.
