Box Score Notre Dame, Ind. --- The Bethel University Women's Lacrosse team (6-3, 3-0) fell in a close game vs. Saint Mary's College (5-3, 0-) 13-10 Monday afternoon.
1st Quarter
The Pilots started fast as they went up 3-0 in the first four minutes of play, but SMC quickly responded as they got three goals of their own. After two more goals from Alyssa Lundy, the Pilots had a 5-3 lead into the second.
2nd Quarter
Jenna Crockett kept the offense rolling as she got a goal 23 seconds into the quarter. SMC got two more goals, and BU responded with the final goal of the half with a Kaley Butler goal assisted by Lundy with 23 seconds left in the quarter.
3rd Quarter
The Pilots scored two goals at the start of the third by Butler and Crockett, which gave the Pilots a 9-5 lead with 9:19 left in the quarter. After three goals from SMC and one from BU, the end of the quarter still had the Pilots up 10-8,
4th Quarter
SMC took control of the game as BU gave up five goals in the final quarter, which led to a 13-10 SMC win over the Pilots.

The Pilots will travel to Fort Wayne, Ind., to take on Indiana Tech on March 29 at 5:00 p.m.
