Box Score Saint Mary of the Woods, Ind. --- The Bethel Pilots (9-12, 5-10) continued to dominate the Saint Mary of the Woods Pomeroys (2-22, 0-13) as they won in straight sets Saturday afternoon.
The first set was challenging until the Pilots found a 9-2 run to put them up 21-13 and far enough away to cruise to a set one victory (25-19).
In set two, Bethel dominated until the Pomeroys found a 7-1 run to make it 18-16 with BU still ahead. A commanding finish from Arthur Barreto and Ben Ritzema made sure Saint Mary of the Woods didn't get a set win of their own as BU won the second set 25-19.
In the third set, it came down to the wire as BU only led 22-20 after a 5-1 from Saint Mary of the Woods, but a kill from Barreto, an error from the opposition, and a Barreto service ace gave the Pilots the road sweep as they won the third set 25-20.
Arthur Barreto led Bethel with 14 kills and added a service ace, two block assists, and six digs.
Ege Gul led in digs (8), with Barreto, Gerardo Sanchez, and Marcos Henrike each had six. Erik Malek stated 27 assists in the contest.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
- The Pilots recorded more digs than the Pomeroys (33-30).
- Egu Gul had four service aces.

The Pilots will travel to Sylvania, Ohio, to take on the NAIA ninth ranked Lourdes Graywolves on March 21 at 7:00 p.m.
