MISHAWAKA, Ind. --- The #20 Women's Volleyball team (21-4, 9-4) battled in Gates vs. Spring Arbor University (14-12, 7-6) and came away with a 3-0 victory Friday night.
The Pilots had multiple four-point runs in the first set and controlled the tempo to win the set 25-14. Taylor Delp, Isabelle Greene, and Cheyanne Seymour all had multiple kills to boost the Pilots offense.
In the second set, Isabelle Greene surpassed Erica Bruxvoort (2004-07) and Peggy Huls (1999-02), who each had 1,266 kills, which puts Greene at 10th in the Bethel University Women's Volleyball program history. With kills from Michaela Whitaker and digs from Rachel Vendl, the Pilots got the second set win with the score of 25-18.
The Pilots also controlled the third set but struggled near the end, giving up an 8-1 run. The Pilots had a comfortable lead and finished the match with a 25-18 victory.
