Mishawaka, Ind. --- The Bethel University Esports teams competed in the ECAC and NECC playoffs as the semester came to an end.
Overwatch went undefeated as they took down SUNY-Canton 3-0 in the first round of ECAC playoffs, and a 3-0 win vs Sacred Heart University. They finished with a big 3-1 win vs Milwaukee School of Engineering in the NECC Semi-finals.
Rocket League went 2-2 defeating Valparaiso (3-2) and Farmingdale State (4-0). However, their season came to an end falling to Defiance (3-1) and Assembly of God (4-2).
League of Legends ended their season with a 2-0 loss vs Valparaiso in the NECC Semi finals.
Head Coach Daniel Wort said, "We had four teams make the conference playoffs this season which was great. Two of them made the playoffs in two different conferences. And two of them (Overwatch and Rocket League Blue) will be playing for a conference title later this week. Excited to see the growth and improvement in these kids - particularly our Rocket League teams. It's been a long season, and we're hoping to end it on a high note."
