Oakland City, Ind--- Offensive woes and turnovers cost the Bethel University Women's Basketball team Friday night, as they fell to Oakland City University 72-50.
Ella Foster led the Pilots with 17 points going 4-7 from the field and 5-5 from the charity line, whileÂ
Nyla Asad and
Caroline Morris both added 9 points, but the Pilots struggled shooting on the evening, converting on just 32% from the floor (15/60).
The Pilots turned the ball over a whopping 36 times, leading to 39 points for Oakland City, who jumped out to a 35-11 lead early in the 2
nd quarter and led 20 at the half, 39-19.
The Pilots now fall to 4-2 on the season and will travel to Joliet, IL. to take on St. Francis (Ill) on November 14
th.
