COACHING PHILOSOPHY/WHY DO YOU COACH?
“I coach because it is a powerful platform to invest in young women both on and off the court. I love getting to know my athletes as individuals and learning how to coach each of them in a way that brings out their best. Building genuine relationships is at the core of my philosophy, as I believe trust and connection create an environment where athletes can grow and compete freely. I am passionate about pouring into my players holistically—spiritually, physically, and mentally—while encouraging and developing the next generation of volleyball players and leaders. Ultimately, I strive to be the coach I would have loved to play for: one who leads with purpose, challenges with care, prioritizes people, and leads them to Christ and encourages them to shine His light!” – Mady Kern
