WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – Bethel Women's Volleyball knocked off No. 10 Cumberlands (Ky.) in a five-set battle on Friday, rallying from an opening-set loss to close it out 15-9 in the decider. Taylor Delp led the way with a career high 23 kills on a .438 hitting clip as the Pilots pulled off the road upset.

SET ONE
- Bethel traded the first several points with Cumberlands, with kills from Taylor Delp and Liberty Pierson keeping it level into the middle of the set.
- The Patriots pulled away from a 12-12 tie, using a service-fueled run to open a cushion Bethel couldn't close.
- Cumberlands closed it out 25-14, forcing a string of Pilot errors down the stretch to grab the early edge.

SET THREE
- Back-to-back kills from Isabelle Schlundt gave Bethel an early 5-1 lead, and the Pilots never let Cumberlands climb back into it.
- Taylor Delp kept piling on kills through the middle of the set as Bethel stretched the lead into double digits, with the Patriots unable to find enough answers to cut into the deficit.
- A Haley Biedenbach service ace sealed the set 25-16, putting Bethel in front for the first time in the match.
SET FOUR
- Bethel built as much as a nine to four cushion early behind a strong stretch from the back row, but Cumberlands began chipping away.
- The set tightened up from there, with the two teams tying it three separate times, at 15,19, and again at 24.
- Cumberlands scored the final two points to close it out 26-24 and force a decisive fifth set.
SET FIVE
- Bethel trailed 5-3 early before tying it at 5-5 and taking the lead for good on a Taylor Delp kill.
- A stretch featuring back-to-back blocks from Hayden Ramsey pushed the cushion to 13-7, giving Bethel enough room to withstand one final push from Cumberlands.
- The Pilots closed the match on a Liberty Pierson kill to seal the 15-9 win and the upset.
