MATCH RECAP
Bethel and Taylor played to a scoreless first half despite the Pilots hitting the post twice through Luca Canto. The floodgates opened after the break: Noe Ferreira broke through in the 54th minute off assists from Fernando Laserna and Diego Arrieta, and Felipe Van Dijk followed three minutes later on a Jorge Rodriguez assist to make it 2-0. Miguel Gallegos made it 3-0 in the 64th minute, and Sebastian Lopez added a fourth in the 68th off another Laserna assist. Felipe Falivene capped a strong second-half cameo with a goal in the 83rd minute, and Ivan Rodriguez closed the scoring in the 85th, assisted by Falivene and Lucas Pigatto. Noa Sontag made one save to preserve the shutout, and the Pilots finished with a 13-1 shot advantage.
