  • The Mustangs pulled away again late, getting a kill from Alivia Arsenault to push the lead to 24-17 before Hayden Ramsey answered with a kill; Mary Kate Bendlage closed it out with a kill to make it 25-18.
SET TWO

  • Mount Mercy answered with a stretch of kills and attack errors forced by its block to push ahead late.
  • The set was tied three times down the stretch, at 20, 21 and 22, before Hallie Bedier delivered back-to-back kills to put Mount Mercy up 24-22; Hayden Ramsey pulled Bethel within one on a kill, but Bella Dantzler finished the set with a kill to make it 25-23.
SET THREE
  • Bethel opened with a burst of Hayden Ramsey service aces to build an early cushion, then leaned on Taylor Delp kills to hold the lead through the middle of the set.
  • Mount Mercy tied the set late, but back-to-back Alex Brown kills gave Bethel the final points it needed to stay in front.
  • Mount Mercy tied it once more on a Taylor Delp attack error, but Alex Brown's second kill of the closing run sealed the set 25-22.
