Rio Grande broke a scoreless deadlock in the 43rd minute when Nahuel Coppiz finished off a Riku Okimoto assist to make it 1-0. Bethel controlled the run of play in the second half, out-shooting Rio Grande 12-1 in the period, and drew level in the 72nd minute when Jorge Rodriguez converted a Stephen Nana Tuffour assist to make it 1-1. Noa Sontag made two saves in net, and the defense held firm the rest of the way to secure the road draw.
