Box Score 2 GOSHEN, Ind. ---The Bethel Pilots (6-18, 2-10) fell to the Goshen College Maple Leafs (11-15, 5-9) in Wednesday's doubleheader at the Goshen College Softball Complex.
Harmony Looney saw a season high for RBI's in game one, bringing in three of the four Bethel runs with one hit on three at-bats.
Maddy Shaw and
Kate Cooper each had three hits on the day. Shaw added three runs and two RBI's while Cooper posted one RBI.
Freshman
Madelynn Queen posted one hit in her lone at-bat in game two. Between both game she also showcased one run and two RBI's.
Head Coach
Natalie Newell shared, "I really liked our fight in the second game, especially in the seventh inning. Hopefully we can continue to build off of that and use it as momentum heading into our next game."
The Pilots will next compete at home against the University of Saint Francis Cougars (13-7, 9-3) on Friday, March 27. First pitch at Gardner Field is set for 3 PM.
