Career Highs Highlight Men's Volleyball's Defeat of Indiana Tech

FORT WAYNE, Ind. ---The No. 10 Bethel Pilots (7-2, 5-0) triumphed in a five set thriller (31-29, 25-18, 21-25, 22-25, 15-13) with the Indiana Tech Warriors (5-5, 2-2) on Friday night in the Schaefer Center.

Thomas Dunkley terminated 27 kills for a new career high, surpassing his previous 23 against the Lourdes University Gray Wolves earlier this season.

McGwire Eigenrauch commanded the offense, contributing a stellar 56 assists to surpass his previous career high of 52 against the Trine Thunder last season (Feb. 4, 2025).

Eduardo Kerkoski totaled 25 digs for a career high in his inaugural season.

Santana Roybal-Benson and Eigenrauch each added five blocks for the Bethel defense.

Christian Woumnga and Nikola Radicevic strengthened the Pilots' offense with 16 and 10 kills respectively. Each hitter also added a service ace.

While the Pilots went point for point in set one, Santana Roybal-Benson and Christian Woumnga scored back-to-back kills to win an impressive 31-29 first set.

In the second set, Bethel dominated with a seven-point run, highlighted with four kills by Dunkley.

Following a close third and fourth sets, The Pilots capitalized on two attacking errors by the Warriors for an early 6-2 lead in the final set of the evening.

The Warriors answered with two blocks to narrow the Pilots' lead to one (9-8), as Bethel struggled to put the ball away.

Finally, Christian Woumnga and Nikola Radicevic terminated two kills for the 15-13 win.

Head Coach Jose Viera Cerame shared, "Good win for us after having a rough weekend last week. Indiana Tech is a team that knows how to come back and they did, but we were the better team at the end...GO PILOTS!"

The Pilots will look to further their undefeated conference record tonight in the Karl H. Weaner Center. They will face the Defiance College Yellowjackets (2-6, 1-4) at 5 PM.
