MISHAWAKA, Ind. – Bethel Women's Volleyball swept Huntington in a league match Wednesday night at Gates Gymnasium, holding the visitors to a .000 hitting percentage for the match. Liberty Pierson led the Pilots with 12 kills and eight block assists, and Haley Biedenbach ran the offense with 36 assists.

MATCH RECAP
SET ONE
- Huntington jumped ahead 2-0, and the teams traded the lead five times, with nine ties, before Bethel pulled away from an 11-11 tie.
- The Pilots went on a 6-1 run from that tie to lead 17-12, getting two blocks from Hayden Ramsey and a kill and a block assist from Liberty Pierson. Huntington called timeout at 15-12.
- The Pilots never let the visitors closer than four points the rest of the way, and Haley Johnson ended the set with a service ace.
SET TWO
- Huntington opened on a 5-0 run, including a Jadyn Samson ace, and Bethel took a timeout at 4-0. The Pilots won six of the next seven points to tie it at 6-6, with Delaney Kintz and Pierson teaming on two blocks.
- Trailing 13-10, Bethel ran off six straight points. Biedenbach served five of them, including back-to-back aces, to put the Pilots up 16-13 and force a Huntington timeout at 15-13.
- After Huntington went up 21-20, Bethel called timeout and closed on a 5-0 run, with Johnson serving the last four points. Two Huntington attack errors were followed by kills from Taylor Delp and Pierson.
SET THREE
- Bethel opened on a 4-0 run on Biedenbach's serve, helped by two Kintz-Pierson blocks. A Ramsey ace made it 10-6.
- Huntington answered with a 5-0 run, with Lauren Ross serving four of the points, to take an 11-10 lead. They later stretched the lead to 19-16 before Bethel called timeout.
- The Pilots outscored Huntington 9-3 the rest of the way. They tied it at 19-19 on a Ramsey ace, then scored four straight to go up 23-20, three of them on Biedenbach's serve, forcing two Huntington timeouts. Pierson finished the match with a kill off a Biedenbach set.
