GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.---The Bethel Pilots The Bethel competed in the Diemer Classic on Saturday morning, hosted by Calvin University. 

Aaron Douglass finished in the top half of runners, placing 28th out of 88 with a time of 27:04.7.

Other notable performances included Andrew Golba who placed 39th with a time of 27:50.9, Devyn Clements who placed 44th with a time of 28:32.2, and Zach Maendel who placed 45th with a time of 28:34.8. 

The Pilots placed 5th out of 6 teams, and beat the NCCAA Qualifying Team Time of 146:56.

Zach Maendel shared, "It was a great day.  Running with teammates made the experience so much better."
