Box Score SOUTH BEND, Ind.---The Bethel Pilots (3-0) continued their succession of sweeps tonight at the Student Activities Center, as they delivered the Indiana University South Bend Titans (0-1) their first loss of the season.
Freshman Outside Sophia Beeson shone at the front line, continually finding open spots in the deep right court to score.
Sophomore Defensive Specialist Haley Johnson saw her first minutes this season, making an impact for the Pilots behind the service line.
Head Coach Erica Dregits shared, "Our defense was phenomenal tonight, allowing us more opportunities to score!"
Junior Opposite Liberty Pierson shared, "There was a strong sense of unity on and off the court tonight! Even when IUSB went on runs, we regained momentum and finished strong. Super proud of how we closed it out!"
The Bethel Pilots will next face the No. 8 Indiana University Kokomo Cougars on Wednesday, August 20th. They will take the court at 6:00 p.m. in the Cougar Gym.
