MISHAWAKA, Ind. --- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2025 Women's Tennis Tournament Bracket and the 23rd-seeded Bethel Pilots will face the 10th-seeded and 11th nationally ranked LSU-Alexandria Generals on May 13 at 9:00 a.m. for the First Round at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Ala.
The Pilots (16-0, 8-0) finished the Crossroads League campaign undefeated and walked away with the Crossroads League Tournament Championship to give them an automatic bid for the first time in program history. LSU-Alexandria made the NAIA National Tournament from an at-large bid after falling to Louisiana Christian 4-3 in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Semifinal.
SCOUTING LSU-ALEXANDRIA
The Generals are 8-5 on the season and 3-2 in RRAC play, with wins over RRAC opponent LSU-Shreveport 4-3, Xavier (La.) 4-2, Texas A&M-Texarkana 5-0, and SCAD-Savannah 4-1 (who also is in the tournament field). The Generals fell to Southeastern 4-3, Dillard 5-2, and Southeastern Louisiana 5-2 for notable losses.
