Box Score ANDERSON, Ind. ---The Bethel Pilots (2-2) defeated the Anderson University Ravens (2-4) in the Macholtz Stadium 16-5 on Wednesday night.
Isabell Gerband was the leading scorer with five goals and six points recorded.
Chloe Harding posted five points from five goals made.
In the opening quarter,
PJ Pearson posted the first goal for the Bethel offense, as the Pilots led 1-0 at the 10:47 mark.
Less than thirty seconds later, Bethel took advantage of an extra-man opportunity as
Serenity Kretschmer added another goal for the Pilots at 10:20 (2-0).
Following a draw control by
Addi Jones,
Chloe Harding and Isabel Gerbrand recorded one goal each (8:28, 6:43). The Pilots concluded the first up 4-1.
At the onset of the second,
Chloe Harding kicked off the scoring with a goal at 13:23 (5-1).
At 12:25, Isabel Gerbrand scored on a free position attempt, as Bethel led by five (6-1).
Mackenzie Holland followed suit with her own goal on a free position attempt (4:35). The Pilots ended the half up 10-3.
Mackenzie Holland showcased her scoring consistency with a goal at 7:37 to open up the third quarter (11-4).
Bethel ended the third up 13-5 following a goal scored at 2:05 by the Ravens.
In the fourth quarter, Bethel was the only scoring team with three goals recorded. Bethel concluded the game 16-5.
Bethel will travel to the Fred Zollner Athletic Stadium to compete against Trine University on Mar. 14 at 3 PM.
