MISHAWAKA, Ind. ---The Bethel Esports Team concluded their fall season on Thursday evening with a 2-0 loss to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
In the first round matchup, the Pilots defeated Oklahoma Wesleyan University 2-1 on Tuesday, Nov. 18.
Nathan Kropiewnicki (TKrop) led the team in the series with 35 eliminations. He shared, "This season was solid overall, and we had a lot of fun competing. We faced some tough teams, and while I was hoping to make it to the finals, reaching the quarterfinals is still something to be proud of. We know what we need to improve, and we're excited for next season."
Kropiewnicki posted an impressive average combat score of 314 in the third game against Oklahoma Wesleyan, while teammate
Zak Shaffer (Happy) led the team in average combat score for the entire first round matchup (287).
The Pilots look to the spring semester for their next competition dates, which will be announced in the new year.
