Head Coach
Steve Drabyn shared, "Overall, we had a really positive weekend. Obviously you want to win two games, but it's great as a coach to see progress on both sides of hte ball and learn a lot about your team. Our numbers were good defensively, holding Michigan Dearborn to 44% shooting, 29% from three, and out-rebounding them by 26."
Drabyn continued, "However, we talk a lot about playing to our standard and the energy and urgency weren't there in the first half. I was pleased with our second half effort in those areas...We made more free throws than our opponents shot, meaning we are being the aggressor and playing without fouling. I am excited about where we are headed."
The Pilots will next compete against next door neighbor Indiana University South Bend (1-1) who are coming off of a 90-67 loss to Crossroads League member University of Saint Francis (3-3).
Bethel will travel to the Student Activities Center on Wed, Nov. 12 for a 7 PM tip-off against the Titans.
