Box Score MISHAWAKA, Ind. --- The No. 4 Bethel Pilots (15-2-2) will advance to the Crossroads League Championship following Friday night's 4-1 victory over (RV) Spring Arbor (11-8-1) at Morey Field.
With early attacking pressure, the Cougars scored first in the 17th minute after an own goal deflection off
Diego Rodriguez. The Pilots quickly responded, tying the score just six minutes later when
Diego Arrieta converted an assist by
Abdon Ortiz.
In the second half, Bethel completely took control.
Julian Vargas Talamantes, the two-time 2025 Crossroads League Offensive Player of the Week, gave the Pilots the lead in the 75th minute with a composed penalty finish.
Andres Dixon then sealed the Pilots' place in the final with two goals in the 78th and 86th minutes, assisted by
Luca Canto and
Isaac Hernandez.
Bethel dominated the match statistically, outshooting Spring Arbor 28-6, with 13 shots on goal and an 11-2 edge in corner kicks.

Maarten Schouten added a key save while the defense held strong after the early setback.

With the win, the Pilots advance to the Crossroads League Tournament Championship. Bethel will host the Grace College Lancers (13-4-3) on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 5 PM on Morey Field.
