Box Score MISHAWAKA, Ind. ---The No. 3 Bethel Men's Soccer Team (11-2-2, 5-1-1) defeated the Huntington University Foresters (3-8-4, 1-5-1) 1-0 on Morey Field on Saturday afternoon. 

Eduardo Pedroza scored the game-winning goal for the Pilots in the 11th minute of the matchup. Pedroza was assisted by Julian Vargas Talamantes (his fifth assist of the season).

Huntington took a total of three shots in the opening half, with Keeper Maarten Schouten recording two saves. Jona Toussaint recorded a defensive save in the 16th minute. 

In the second half, Eduardo Pedroza executed a defensive save to protect his previous offensive work.

The Pilots hold first place in the Crossroads League, with Huntington in eighth place above the Goshen College Maple Leafs. 

Bethel will next face (RV) Spring Arbor University on Sat, Sept. 25 at 7 PM. Kickoff is set for 7 PM at the Cougar Soccer Complex.
