MISHAWAKA, Ind. ---
Piero Sabroso took charge of his opportunities in the NAIA fifth-ranked Bethel Pilots (5-0-2) win over the Judson Eagles (2-2-1) at Morey Field Tuesday night 2-0.
The Pilots dominated possession and forced 10 corner kicks and 14 total shots, five on frame, with 10 of those shots in the second half. Sabroso took six of the 14 Pilot shots with four of his six shots on frame including his two goals.
Sabroso's first goal came in the 52nd minute from
Jona Toussaint's cross in the center of the box and hit the left corner of the net to give the Pilots the lead 1-0, then took another cross from Toussaint in the 82nd minute with a header for the second Pilot goal.
The Pilots are 6-14-1 all-time against the Eagles with a now five-game winning streak and move to 5-2-0 at home since 1998.

The Pilots face their next NAIA Top 25 test in their non-conference slate with the 25th-ranked Lindsey Wilson Blue Raiders who have faced a tough non-conference schedule including a loss to Saint Thomas (Fla.) who is tied for second in the NAIA Coaches Poll 3-1, a tie with #21 Rio Grande, both teams a part of the NAIA Atlanta Classic, and lost to Spring Arbor 3-2 back on Aug. 24.
