MARION, Ind. --- The Bethel Pilots took eighth out of 10 teams at the Crossroads League Outdoor Championship at Indiana Wesleyan on Thursday and Friday, with two Pilots taking the podium.
Shane Glasco is the Crossroads League champion in the High Jump. He cleared 2.05 meters to beat Marian's Gunner Kovach by .03 to win the event for the third straight year and hit his best mark in the Crossroads League Outdoor Championship.
Brennen Bargesser set a PR in his fifth-place finish in the final with a 10.80 time and scored four points for the Pilots. Bargesser also qualified for the NCCAA National Championship in the 200-meter race, with a time of 21.79, and took fifth place.
Nolin Sharick placed 7th in the Long Jump with a 6.68-meter mark, qualifying him for the NCCAA Outdoor Championship on May 8-10.
Joey Rutten took sixth with a 4.40-meter mark in the Pole Vault and scored three points for the Pilots.
Anthony Maxwell took the podium after finishing third with a 49.91-meter throw and scored six points for the Pilots scorecard.
