SOUTH BEND, Ind. --- On a rainy Wednesday night, the Bethel Pilots (7-6, 3-3) are now tied for fourth place in the WHAC with Concordia after their 10-4 win over the Siena Heights Saints (5-6, 2-3) at Father Bly Field on the Saint Joseph High School's campus.
The Pilots answered the Saints' game-opening goal with a 4-0 run by Brea Larrison at 9:22 in the first, Lydia Andrews at 8:28, Mackenzie Holland's man-up goal at 7:43, and Isabell Gerbrand's goal with 58 seconds left in the first.
Gerbrand, who scored four goals tonight, netted another goal at 2:03 in the second quarter to up their lead 5-2 before going to halftime.
The Pilots put up another 4-0 run in the third quarter, with only one Saint goal to answer. Gerbrand shot her final two goals of the night.
NEXT TIME OUT
The Pilots will host the Aquinas Saints for senior night at Morey Field at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, with the last two WHAC matches coming and a chance to host the quarterfinal of the WHAC Tournament on the line.
