BABSON PARK, Fla. --- The Bethel Women's Lacrosse squad (3-2) lost a nailbiter to Webber International University 14-13 in their second and final Florida matchup.
Seniors Erika Marquez and Lydia Andrews and the Bethel defense held their own in the first quarter while Isabell Gerbrand scored twice, and Jenna Crockett also netted one to give them a 3-1 lead.
Webber took control in the second quarter as they bounced back and tied the game up 7-7.
The game went back and forth as each team matched the others with a goal. At the end of the third quarter, it was tied at 10-10 due to goals from Brea Larrison, Mackenzie Holland, and Gerbrand.
Larrison matched a Webber goal at 10:31 and scored another at 3:48 with a free position shot to take the lead 13-12.
At 2:29 and 1:15, Webber International scored goals, taking a 14-13 lead over the Pilots and closing the game out.
Samantha Swope made 21 saves during the contest.
Isabell Gerbrand scored seven goals, while Jenna Crockett scored two with four assists.

The Pilots will travel to Adrian, Mich., to take on Adrian College on March 18 at 5:00 p.m.
