LAKE WALES, Fla. --- The Bethel Women's Lacrosse unit (3-2) took down Warner University (6-2) 16-6 in their first Florida matchup.
Bethel started hot as they went on a 7-0 lead that was accumulated in the first quarter and part of the second.
Brea Larrison led the charge, followed by
Serenity Kretschmer,
Lydia Andrews, and Anna Heartman.
Warner was able to grab a couple of goals of their own in the third and fourth quarter, but the Pilots kept the pressure up and matched Warner's goals with their own.
late in the fourth quarter,
Lydia Andrews spun, shot, and scored her second goal, which gave the Pilots an 11-point lead.
Isabell Gerbrand led the Pilots with five goals and one assist and
Jenna Crockett recorded four goals and three assists.
The Pilots recorded 28 shots, 11 ground balls, and earned more draw controls than Warner (16-10).

The Pilots will continue their Florida trip by taking on Webber International University (Fla.) on March 8th at 4:00 p.m.
