INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- The Bethel Pilots Softball squad (7-18, 3-9) lost two Crossroads League games vs. Marian University (21-3, 10-2) Tuesday evening.
GAME 1
The Pilots struggled to hit the ball, and zero hits were recorded in the game.
Marian controlled the early innings, scoring four in the 1st and six in the 2nd.
The game ended 12-0 in five innings, with Ryaan Norris pitching with two strikeouts, one walk, and 12 hits.
GAME 2
Bethel started scoring for the game, as Kate Cooper homered and brought in two runners for a three RBI hit in the 3rd inning.
Marian tied the game in the 5th inning and scored four more runs in the 6th (8-3) to put the Pilots away.
Harmony Looney pitched six innings with one strikeout, four walks, and eight hits.
NEXT TIME OUT
The Pilots will be at home on March 28 to host Indiana Wesleyan University. The first pitch is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
