ALBION, Mich. --- The Bethel Women's Lacrosse team drops to 2-2 after Albion College (2-0) defeats the Pilots 12-6 Thursday night.


Bethel was scoreless in the first quarter with Albion scoring four unanswered goals going into the second quarter.

Mackenzie Holland shot and scored at the 6:42 mark to grab the Pilots' first goal of the game to make it a 5-1 game.

Jenna Crockett was the only Pilot to score in the third quarter as she scored twice which brought the game to 9-3.

Isabell Gerbrand, Callie Brondyke, and Lydia Andrews all managed a goal of their own in the fourth, but Albion continued to outscore the Pilots as Bethel lost 12-6 in regulation.

Albion had 22 turnovers to Bethel's 19 and the Pilots recorded more Ground Balls than Albion (22-19).

 

 

NEXT TIME OUT 

The Pilots will start their Florida trip as they travel to Lake Wales, FL to take on Warner University, on Mar. 6, at 5:00 p.m.
