MISHAWAKA, Ind. --- The Bethel Men's Volleyball squad (4-4, 0-4) was swept at home by the NAIA 14th-ranked Lawrence Tech Blue Devils (8-1, 4-1) in Goodman Friday night.
Bethel opened the set competitively with a 4-3 start from a couple of errors from LTU, a kill and an ace from Andre Parra, but soon lost the lead and the set.
The second set started positive for the Pilots with a 7-6 lead, but an 18-4 run by the Blue Devils put them up 2-0 over the Pilots.
Lawrence Tech completed the sweep in the third (25-15) after controlling the pace of the set.
Bethel had a poor kill percentage throughout the game, with a .054%. Arthur Barreto led with four kills, and Andre Parra and Erik Malek had three.

Bethel will be at home tomorrow, Feb 24, at 3:00 p.m. in the Gates Gymnasium against Siena Heights University (Mich.) in another WHAC matchup.
