MARION, Ind. --- In a big NAIA top-10 showdown on the road, the #9 Bethel Pilots (9-4-2, 2-4-0) fell to the #6 Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats (13-1-0, 5-1-0) and drop to 7th in the Crossroads League standings.
It was a highly offensive match with the two teams combining for 32 shots and 21 on frame. The Pilots had 17 opportunities with 11 of them on frame compared to the Wildcat's 15 shots and 10 on goal.
The Wildcats struck in the 33rd minute from Guzman Trigo from Yarek Carnegie to go into halftime up 1-0.
IWU struck again in the 52nd minute from Carnegie's goal assisted by Diego Palma, then sealed the 3-0 win from Taha Houssini's goal assisted by Giuseppe Santacroce.
