HUNTINGTON, Ind. --- The Bethel Women's Basketball team (6-15, 1-10) couldn't come up with a win (65-50) against Huntington University (11-10, 5-6) Wednesday night on the road.
The Pilots started the first quarter with a 9-5 lead with a three-pointer from
Hannah Ruddle and a jump shot from
Maiah Shelton but soon lost their lead and fell 65-50 in Huntington.
Bethel shot 94.7% from their free throws (18-19) and 31.3% from the floor (15-48).
Shelton led the team with 14 points, two steals, and three rebounds.
Abby Williams grabbed four rebounds, 10 points, and a block.
Huntington was able to capitalize on Bethel's turnovers (21) and made 16 points off them.
Both teams had 13 bench points during today's contest.

The Pilots will be at home on Saturday, Feb 3rd, taking on Indiana Wesleyan University at 1:00 p.m.
