MISHAWAKA, Ind. --- The Bethel Pilots (16-4, 7-3) won the second meeting of the US Highway 20 Cup over the Goshen Maple Leafs (0-20, 0-10) at home 91-58 on Saturday afternoon.
Four Pilots scored double-digits, with Drew Lutz leading the way with 21 points and 8-for-13 shooting from the floor and 3-for-4 from beyond the arc. James Anderson had 15 points on two rebounds, Jameir Jefferson had 11 points, Nathan Aerts had 10, and Clay Hilliard had 10.
The Pilots dominated the paint with 40 points, with Anderson and Umeh providing a presence in the post. It was an all-around effort off the boards, with the Pilots securing 30 rebounds to Goshen's 24.
In the Gates Gymnasium, the Pilots led the series at 56-11 and 91-29 against the Maple Leafs.
NEXT TIME OUT
The Pilots will travel to Huntington, Ind., to compete against Huntington University on Jan. 31. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
