Box Score MISHAWAKA, Ind. --- The Bethel Women's Basketball squad (6-14, 1-9) competed in another US Highway 20 Cup vs. Goshen College (8-12, 3-7) in Gates Gymnasium and grabbed their first Crossroads League win of the season with the score of 55-33.
The Pilots won 55-33 Saturday afternoon, with Nyla Asad and Maiah Shelton each having 11 points during the contest.
Abby Williams recorded eight rebounds and points, which helped give the Pilots a great home win.
Bethel had a nine-point lead with a Caroline Morris layup at 4:45 left in the first half.
With one minute to go, Hannah Ruddle got a steal, was fouled, and Ruddle made both free throws.
Zion Neat (GC) made a layup at 0:14 (55-33), but Goshen couldn't get their final shot to fall as the Pilots won at home Saturday afternoon.
Goshen did have more points in the paint (32-16), but Bethel had more bench points and points off turnovers.

The Pilots will travel to Huntington, Ind., to compete against Huntington University on Jan. 31. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
