Box Score MISHAWAKA, Ind. --- The RV Women's Volleyball team (16-3, 5-3) battled Huntington University (12-7, 3-5) in the Gates Gymnasium and came away with a 3-1 win in a Crossroads League matchup.
The Pilots secured the first set with a 25-14 win over the Foresters with the help of Isabelle Greene and Maddy Payne, who had multiple kills in the set.
The second set mimicked the first as the Pilots won again, putting them up 2-0 in the contest. Huntington did have the lead early on, but the Pilots kept fighting and found two five-point runs to win 25-16.
The Foresters controlled the third set as they went up 6-2 early. The Pilots found their way back and gained the lead at 14-13, but the Foresters kept pushing and found an 8-1 run, leading to their first-set victory over the Pilots.
The fourth set was back and forth as each team gained and lost the lead many times. Bethel found some rhythm late in the set and a consistent run overtime to win 25-18.

The Pilots will travel to Goshen, Ind., to take on Goshen College in the US Highway 20 Cup on Sept. 29 at 7:00 p.m.
