Box Score SPRING ARBOR, Mich. --- The 15th Bethel Pilots Women's Volleyball team (14-3, 3-3) took on Spring Arbor (9-8, 3-3) on the road and ended with a 3-1 victory.
The Pilots had a very even first set vs. their opponents as it came down the final couple of points. Tied at 22, Taylor Delp got a kill, followed by another kill to give Bethel a 24-22 lead. A Spring Arbor error gave the Pilots the first-set win.
Spring Arbor started hot in the second set as they went up 9-3 early. Bethel was able to chip away and get within two points (16-14) but couldn't capitalize, and SAU tied the match up at 1-1.
The Pilots dominated the third set as they went on a 15-2 run with kills from Isabelle Greene, Maddy Payne, and Cheyanne Seymour to give Bethel the 2-1 advantage.
The fourth set was rocky as the Pilots went down 3-0 in the start but bounced back and found a couple of runs to keep the set alive. After tying it up at 18, Bethel took the lead and finished strong, winning 25-21.
