Box Score MISHAWAKA, Ind. --- The #16 ranked Women's Volleyball team (13-1, 2-1) took down the University of Saint Francis (5-8, 1-2) in straight sets Friday night in Gates.
The Pilots started slow in the first set, going down 3-0, but bounced back with authority as they claimed the first set 25-11. Cheyanne Seymour and Maddy Payne each had multiple kills in the set to help the Pilots go up 1-0.
The second set felt similar to the first as the Pilots went down 3-0 again but went on a 14-1 run, which helped lead to another set win vs. the Cougars.
The third set gave the Pilots some trouble as Bethel was down 5-0 and had to claw back to tie it up 11-11. After Isabelle Greene and Payne earned more kills, the Pilots swept the Cougars at home.
