Box Score Adrian, Mich. --- The Bethel Pilots traveled to Adrian to take on RV Siena Heights Thursday afternoon but could not grab the road win.
The Pilots came out strong in the first quarter with the match's first three goals. Isabell Gerbrand scored at 11:03, assisted by Kaley Butler with a Butler goal at 9:30 left in the quarter. Gerbrand scored again off a Jenna Crockett assist at 3:47. Siena Heights bounced back with three unanswered goals in the last two minutes of the quarter with a 3-3 score as they went to the second quarter.
The Saints dominated the second quarter as they scored six goals, which gave them a 9-3 lead over the Pilots at halftime.
Bethel got some offense rolling again in the third with an Alyssa Lundy goal at 8:56 left in the third, but it wasn't enough to slow Siena Heights down as they continued to increase their lead. Two more goals from the Pilots, one from Kaley Butler's goal at 2:53 and Isabell Gerbrand's at 00:32, scored 15-6 at the end of the third.
Between both teams, five goals were scored in the fourth quarter, two from Bethel. Alyssa Lundy grabbed another goal with no assist, and Isabell Gerbrand scored again off another Jenna Crockett assist with 1:51 remaining. The final score of the matchup was 18-8.
