MISHAWAKA, Ind. --- The Bethel Pilots Softball team (5-33, 4-24) fell to the NAIA 20th ranked Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats 12-0 and 2-1 at Gardner Field on Friday, which was well attended from the Pilot and Wildcat faithful alike.
GAME 1
The top of the order for the Wildcats was rolling and set up for a two-run homerun to take at 2-0 lead in the top of the first. What seemed like clockwork, the Wildcats hit another two-run homerun along with a sacrifice fly to grab three insurance runs in the top of the third.
Indiana Wesleyan scored two more runs, both on errors, in the bottom of the fourth and continued to roll into the top of the fifth and put up three more.
Hannah Frady finished her outing allowing 12 runs (10 earned) on three walks and one strikeout.
