Mishawaka, Ind. --- The Bethel Softball squad (1-19, 0-10) dropped both home games (7-0 and 10-1) vs. #17 Marian University (19-1, 8-0) at Gardner Field Tuesday afternoon. 

GAME 1 

The Marian Knights got on the board in the top of the first with an RBI single in the top of the first, then belted a homerun in the third inning, to lead the Pilots 3-0. 

Marian continued to put up runs as they had another homerun which made the score 7-0, and eventually ended the game with that score. 

Ryann Norris threw a complete game allowing 11 hits, seven runs, and zero walks in 132 pitches. 

GAME 2

The game was even until the top of the third when Marian could record three runs off two hits and three errors from the Pilots. 

Marian kept their offense rolling, earning seven runs in the top of the fifth off eight hits. 

Bethel got a run on the board by Kate Cooper being walked, Marian earned an error, and Sills singled to bring in the pinch runner Emily Kidwell. 

Hannah Frady pitched five innings and recorded 11 hits, 10 runs, and zero walks in 102 pitches. 

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE

• Synder had a hit in both games. 
• Marissa Naverrete was left on base three times in game two. 

THE PILOTS TAKE THE ROAD

Bethel travels to Upland, Ind., to take on Taylor University on March 31, with the first pitch of the doubleheader at 1 p.m.
