Leesburg, Fl. --- The Pilots (8-8, 1-3) finished their trip to Florida on Wednesday with two losses to the Mount Vernon Nazarene Cougars (3-1, 3-1) by scores of 12-8 and 10-6.
GAME 1
Jeremy Wiersema went 3-for-5 with a double and two singles but did not score a runner, but Cooper Tolson hit in two after going 2-for-5 at the plate.
Eli MacDonald and Derek Deisler had multi-hit games for the Pilots, with MacDonald hitting in one, scoring twice, and walked once, while Deisler swung in one RBI and scored once.
Ty Mickiewicz was credited with the loss after throwing 5.1 innings and letting up eight hits, five runs (three earned), three walks, and three strikeouts.
GAME 2
Corbin Greenslade went 3-for-3 at the plate with one RBI and a double. He was the only Pilot to have a multi-hit game, but Deisler and MacDonald had a multi-RBI game with two RBIs each.
Andrew Gerber was called upon to start and threw 4.2 innings. He let up 10 hits on six runs, two walks, and two strikeouts.
Sam Lewandowski was credited with the loss after 1.1 innings pitched and letting up three runs on three hits.

- Bethel was outhit 31-19 on the day.
- Greenslade went 3-for-7 with two RBIs.
