Cedarville, Ohio --- The Bethel Pilots Men's and Women's Track and Field teams finished the final day of the NCCAA Championship on Saturday, with the Women placing third as a team and the Men placing eighth.
DAY 2 HIGHLIGHTS
For the women's team, there were four NCCAA all-American performances, which started with Madison Kauffman, who placed third in the Weight Throw with a mark of 15.68m, .12 meters away from an NAIA B standard mark.
Rilynn Bagarus also placed third in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.14, which is .04 seconds away from an NAIA B standard time.
Brianna Hooton would be the lone champion on the women's team with a 1:00.58 finish in the 400-meter dash and a third-place time of 4:10.03 in the 4x400-meter relay with Vladlena Klymova, Cailyn Pentecost and Riley Hershberger.
The men's team saw success as well. Elisha Fleming continued his success from Friday by taking third overall in the Heptathlon. Fleming's best events were the High Jump (1.90m) and the Long Jump (6.58m), where he won both multi-event heats. For the men, there were a total of three all-American performances.
Collin Mott placed third in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.68, and Brennen Bargesser placed second in the 200-meter dash with a 22.58 finish.
