MISHAWAKA, Ind. --- The #17 Women's Volleyball team (26-5, 13-5) competed in the Crossroads League Quarterfinals vs. Grace College (19-11, 10-8) and ended with a 3-0 win.
The first set was led early by the Pilots with an 11-7 start, but Grace battled back and took the lead (15-13). Bethel found a 7-3 run and put them in an excellent position to finish the first set. A kill From Cheyanne Seymour and an attack error from Grace gave the Pilots the first-set victory.
The Pilots dominated the start of the second set as they went 13-5 to open. Grace stayed in the game as they closed it to 21-19 Bethel but couldn't stop the Pilots firepower as Bethel found a 4-1 to close out the second set. A kill from Alison Nibbelink gave the Pilots a 25-20 win and their second set win of the afternoon.
Grace seemed to control the third set with a 15-12 lead halfway into the set, but the Pilots stormed up the scoreboard with a 12-3 run to sweep the Lancers in the Crossroads League Quarterfinals.
