MISHAWAKA, Ind. --- The NAIA sixth-ranked Bethel Pilots Men's Soccer team is going to the NAIA National Championship for the second year in a row after a 2-1 victory over the RV Tennessee Wesleyan Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon.
In the 17th minute, Piero Sabroso heads a cross by Miguel Martins in front of the net. Sabroso fought through two Bulldog defenders to score the Pilot goal.
Tennessee Wesleyan bit back with Cian Gantley corralling a free ball off the head of Sodai Koketsu and connected with Luis Baldivieso to tie the game 1-1.
Sami Charaf Amal put the Pilots up on a long free kick straight into the upper left corner of the net to give the Pilots a 2-1 lead in the 76th minute.
