GOSHEN, Ind. --- On Wednesday, The Bethel Pilots Men's Basketball team traveled to Goshen College to take on the Holy Cross Saints in a neutral site battle.
The Pilots roared to a 13-0 run before Holy Cross scored their first point on a free throw at 15:24 in the first half.
The saints battled back and widdled their deficit to six points, but Luke McBride and Trent Edwards drained three-to-back-pointers to re-gain a double-digit 12-point lead.
Bethel peaked at a 23-point lead from a Preston Phillips deep ball at 31 seconds until halftime, 44-21.
The most significant lead of the game came at 14:20 in the second half with James Anderson's layup to grow the enormous lead of 52-28.
Andrew Hedrick put the cherry on top with a jumper at 24 seconds left in regulation to secure an 82-59 victory over the Saints.
The Pilots move to 5-1 on the season and 2-1 in neutral site games. Bethel is now 17-1 all-time against the Saints and 1-0 at neutral sites.

- Preston Phillips scored a season-high 23 points and shot 10-16 (62%) and 3-6 (50%) from beyond the arc.
- The Pilots scored 52 points in the paint.
- Bethel won the battle of the boards 33-25.
