Pilots win 15 of 16 events in win over Anderson University

ELKHART, Ind. --- The Women's Swim and Dive team won 15 of the 16 events in the meet win against Anderson (Ind.) on Saturday in the Elkhart Aquatic Center.

The 400-yard Medley Relay team of Mikaela Vanasdale, Makalynn VanEerden, Lara Galy and Hilda Vrjbloed won the event with a time of 4:17.72 with the team of Jaylyn Harrison, Emma McClelland, Isabela Nuet and Elizabeth Williams finished runner-up at 4:29.05.

Teagan Risher won the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:15.75 and the 100 breaststroke at 1:08.97.

Aixa Recchioni won the 200 freestyle, touching at 1:58.80, and the Pilots took over the top three spots in the event.

The only event not won by a Pilot was the 200-yard butterfly, which was decided by a difference of 11 seconds.

NEXT TIME OUT

The Pilots compete in the Don Kimble Invite in Grand Rapids, Mich., on Nov. 17-19, hosted by NCAA DII Davenport University.
