Box Score Huntington, Ind. --- The Bethel University Men's Basketball team (15-8, 7-6) fell to Huntington University by a score of 88-74 in another Crossroads League showdown Saturday afternoon.

Drew Lutz drained a triple in the third minute of the game before the Pilots started to get overrun by the Foresters. Bethel found themselves down by 13 points with under four minutes to go in the half, which put the Pilots in a tricky situation. At 3:36, Lutz and freshman
Alonas Peciulis found some rhythm with a seven-point run to get within 10 points with 1:48 to go.
Huntington kept out of reach in the second half and increased their lead to 15 with a dunk from Landen Jordan with 15:20 to play. Bethel fought hard, not letting the Foresters get too far ahead with made buckets from
Nathan Aerts and
Chikara Tanaka to keep within 15 of Huntington with six minutes to play.
With two minutes to play, Huntington didn't miss a free throw, sinking six shots from the charity stripe, giving the Pilots no chance to rebound and score quickly.
Lutz led in scoring for the fourth game in a row as he continued his stellar play, scoring 27 points, six rebounds, and seven assists.
Chikara Tanaka had 11 points, two rebounds, and three assists.
Tanguy Touze also fared well with 10 points while shooting 36% from the floor and grabbed seven rebounds. Â
