Box Score Chicago, Ill. --- Local South Bend freshman Leena Thomas scores her first career collegiate goal to give the Lady Pilots their first win of the season.

The first half was a stalemate, with the Cougars outshooting the Pilots 4-3.

Bethel increased their pressure in the second half, outshooting Saint Xavier 10-5.

Thomas' first career goal came in the 69th minute, giving the Pilots a lead they would hold until the finish.
