  • The Pilots closed the game on a 14-4 run after trailing by ten with 3:15 remaining. Down 87-81 with nine seconds remaining, the Wildcats turned it over on an inbounds play and Jared DeHart promptly hit a three with seven seconds to go. After a foul to put Dan Largey at the line for a bonus situation, the nation's tenth-best free throw shooter missed the front end and the Wildcats fouled DeHart to put him at the line for a one-and-one with four seconds remaining. After hitting the first, DeHart intentionally missed the second but the loose ball was last touched by the Pilots out of bounds with 1.7 left and the Wildcats successfully inbounded to seal the game.
